Widespread Beginner one sitting of ~10 min
Pour water from the cup labelled "now" into the cup labelled "want", and drink.
A small enacted ritual borrowing quantum-jumping imagery: two cups, one labelled with your current situation, one with the desired one. You fill the first, pour it into the second while feeling the change of state, and drink, taking the new reality into you. The whole thing takes ten minutes including writing the labels, and the labels are where the thinking happens: naming your current situation in a few honest words is often the least comfortable part of the exercise. The pour is meant to be slow and watched, not performed. Practitioners typically do it once, at a threshold (a move, a breakup, the start of a month) rather than repeatedly.
Spread through manifestation TikTok and Reddit as a "dimension jumping" ritual.
The "dimension jumping" story attached to this borrows quantum language the same way quantum jumping does, and it does not follow from anything in physics; water poured between two labelled cups is a symbol, and the practice works as a symbol or not at all. Enacted rituals of this kind are genuinely good at marking transitions, which is a real and modest thing. Use ordinary drinking water, and if you are tempted to add anything to the cup for potency, do not.
Daya has no ritual component and will not pretend otherwise. Where it fits is on either side: the desired-state label is easier to write after you have heard a two-minute scene of what that state actually looks like, and the evening journal is where you note what changed in the week after. The pouring is entirely on you.
Most techniques on this page ask you to hold a vivid scene of your future in your mind. Daya does the holding for you: a new guided audio journey every day, written around the life you are actually building, in scenes specific enough to feel like memory.
