Timing intentions to where the moon and benefics land in your own birth chart.
Personalised lunar work: instead of generic moon rituals, you read each new moon against your natal chart, which house it falls in tells you which life area (money, relationships, career, home) that month favours, and aim that cycle’s intentions there, sometimes timing bigger moves to transits of Jupiter or Venus. It requires an accurate birth time, since the house placements shift substantially with an hour’s error, which is the first place most people get stuck. Once set up, the monthly work is quick: find the house, write intentions for that life area, and leave the rest of the year’s ambitions alone until their month comes round. That constraint is the appeal for a lot of practitioners: it stops every month being about the same anxious topic.
A meeting of traditional electional astrology and modern moon-manifestation practice.
Astrology has been tested repeatedly and has not shown predictive validity: the well-known studies on matching charts to people, and on astrologers agreeing with each other, came out at chance. So the timing has no established effect on what is possible in a given month. What the system provides is a rotation: a reason to work on your home in one cycle and your work in another rather than circling the same worry twelve times a year. If your birth time is unknown, house-based work is not really available to you, and the honest options are to use a different technique or to accept that you are working with a rough sketch.
Daya has an astrology section but does not schedule your practice or tell you what to focus on in a given month. Where it fits is downstream: once the cycle’s area is chosen, that is what you type in each morning, and the scene it writes back is about a house full of the right subject. The chart work stays elsewhere.
Most techniques on this page ask you to hold a vivid scene of your future in your mind. Daya does the holding for you: a new guided audio journey every day, written around the life you are actually building, in scenes specific enough to feel like memory.
